Sessions take around 2 hours on average. Every session begins with a conversation in comfortable chairs. We take time to discuss what you have experienced, how your symptoms have developed and what may already have changed.

How I Work

From conversation to focused treatment

Every session is a personalized experience. I do not follow a fixed method. I work from direct attunement to you, your body and your medical condition. I prefer the first session to take place in my practice in Bosch en Duin. Follow-up sessions can also take place online when that feels appropriate.

Meeting and attuning

When you arrive, we first sit down in comfortable chairs. We discuss your symptoms, the previous period and what you have experienced, felt and noticed.

Purpose of the session

I explain what we will focus on during the session and what we are trying to explore together.

Calm and treatment

You then lie down fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table. I usually work without physical touch. If touch seems appropriate, I always ask for your permission first.

Balance and symptom-focused attention

I begin by bringing calm and balance to the body as a whole. After that, attention shifts to your specific condition and symptoms. Often, one or more areas of focus emerge and may evoke noticable reactions.

Closing and aftercare

When the body feels calm, usually after 45 to 90 minutes on the table, we bring the session to a close. Afterwards we speak briefly, and when useful I may suggest simple exercises or advice for the rest of the day and days to come. After a day or two we get in touch to discuss what has shifted as a result of the session. If so desired we then plan a follow up.
